Top Cryptocurrencies Rise; Bitcoin Tops $108,000 Level

Major digital assets rose Monday, with Bitcoin (BTC/USD) topping the $108,000 level. The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose almost 2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 climbed 0.4% in late trading, the S&P 500 rose 0.2%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%. Bitcoin was up 2.2% at $108,667, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 45.6% to 51.3 billion. Ethereum (ETH/USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 2% to $2,584. XRP (XRP/USD) gained 0.3%, BNB (BNB/USD) rose 0.9%, and Solana (SOL/USD) climbed 0.9%. Dogecoin (DOGE/USD) was up 0.5%, and Cardano (ADA/USD) surged 1.3%. The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.480% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, down from 4.506% Friday, while the five-year yield declined to 4.084% from 4.126%. The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1.8% in the past 24 hours to $3.28 trillion, with trading volume up 33.3% to $110.52 billion.
