
Top Cryptocurrencies Rise; Bitcoin Holds Near $110,000 Level
Major digital assets rose Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC/USD) holding near the $110,000 level. The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose almost 1.4% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 climbed 2.2% in late trading, the S&P 500 rose 1.9%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 1.7%. Bitcoin was up 0.8% at $109,899, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 15.8% to $55.35 billion. Ethereum (ETH/USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 5.7% to $2,686. XRP (XRP/USD) gained 1.3%, BNB (BNB/USD) rose 2.7%, and Solana (SOL/USD) climbed 2.3%. Dogecoin (DOGE/USD) was up 1.5%, and Cardano (ADA/USD) surged 1.4%. The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1.6% in the past 24 hours to $3.47 trillion, with trading volume up 20.9% to $129.36 billion.
