Top Cryptocurrencies Rise; Bitcoin Holds Above $106,000 Level

Major digital assets rose Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC/USD) holding above the $106,000 level. The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 0.9% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 climbed 0.8% in late trading, the S&P 500 rose 0.6%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.5%. Bitcoin was up 1.6% at $106,250, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 8.6% to $47.63 billion. Ethereum (ETH/USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 3.4% to $2,620. XRP (XRP/USD) gained 5.2%, BNB (BNB/USD) rose 0.7%, and Solana (SOL/USD) climbed 5.1%. Dogecoin (DOGE/USD) was up 3.6%, and Cardano (ADA/USD) rose 2.6%. The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.456% at 3 p.m. ET Tuesday, down from 4.460% Monday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.024% from 4.014%. The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 2.6% in the past 24 hours to $3.35 trillion, with trading volume up 14% to $114.38 billion.
