Tap Global to List on London's Junior AIM

By Anthony O. GoriainoffTap Global said it plans to list on London's junior AIM later in the month. The regulated cryptocurrency app said Friday that it wasn't raising any new capital nor would it be providing a secondary offering as part of the admission. The company said it had 743.4 million ordinary shares in issue at present. The board said that AIM was a more appropriate market for the company, allowing it to attract a wider set of investors and improve liquidity over time. The company said it expects its admission will become effective on June 27, and that its shares will stop trading on the Aquis Stock Exchange on that date. The company said that Spark Advisory Partners is its nominated adviser and that Tennyson Securities will continue to act as the company's broker after admission."The board believes AIM is the right platform for a company of our scale and ambition, providing the profile and access to a wider investor base that will support our growth," Chief Executive Arsen Torosian said.Write to Anthony O.
