The auction for the first of these coins closed on 3 April 2025 with the hammer price reaching £20,000, a premium of almost 8.5 times the then spot (or market) price of gold.The auction will close this Wednesday, 16 April, at 5pm BST, unless the "buy-it now" price is met before that time.
