Pieverse has upgraded its invoice payments infrastructure to the x402 v2 standard, introducing enhanced payment verification and new modular features. The mechanism now incorporates CAIP-2-based network identification and separates compliance logic into standalone extensions, enabling faster payment processing and more flexible, jurisdiction-specific compliance options. These changes aim to streamline third-party integrations and receipts issuance, which could attract new enterprise users and drive network activity.
