Moscow expands list of EU officials banned from Russia in response to new sanctions

Russian authorities have signficiantly expanded the list of officials from European Union member states and EU institutions who are banned from entering Russia, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.It said the move was a response to the latest package of sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia.EU foreign ministers adopted a 16th package of sanctions against Russia in February, which targeted a cryptocurrency exchange for the first time.
