MOG Digitech Holdings Invests $500,000 in ALT5 Sigma
By Adriano MarcheseALT5 Sigma received an indirect investment of $500,000 from Hong Kong-based MOG Digitech Holdings.MOG Digitech said Wednesday the investment was made indirectly through the subscription of membership interest in a fund that participated in the recent offering of ALT5, a blockchain-powered technology company. The fund was one of a number of institutional investors and crypto venture capital firms to take part in ALT5's offering, where World Liberty Financial, a firm associated with President Donald Trump and his family, was the lead investor.MOG Digitech said the partnership strengthens its position in the Web3, the next-generation internet, and decentralized finance sectors, while also creating opportunities to better connect digital payments and trading platforms by using a proprietary stablecoin.A stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency designed to keep its value steady, usually pegged to a particular currency such as the U.S. dollar.Write to Adriano Marchese at [email protected]
