Intesa CEO says bank willing to do only 'very limited' crypto investments

Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo has "very limited" room to invest in a proprietary manner in crypto assets and is urging retail investors to stay away from them, CEO Carlo Messina said on Tuesday.Speaking at a business conference in Milan, Messina said a proprietary investment in Bitcoin that his bank carried out this week was mainly a test, in order to be prepared should customers ask for this type of asset.
