Injective (INJ) - x402 Standard Integration - 26 December 2025
Injective is integrating the new x402 standard to support Internet-scale onchain payment rails and agentic finance applications. The team states in its announcement on X that x402 on Injective is designed to enable very fast, globally accessible payments and to power use cases such as agentic payments and neo-bank style services. Mechanically, this can increase network usage by attracting payment flows and new applications, which may raise onchain activity and fee generation. For INJ, higher protocol utilization can positively influence sentiment and speculative flows if real transaction growth materializes after integration.
