Hedera to Update JavaScript SDK on June 2nd
Hedera will retire the MyHbarWallet gRPC-Web proxies for mainnet, testnet and previewnet on June 2nd. From this date, browser-based dApps that rely on these proxies must migrate to alternative connectivity solutions to maintain functionality. The change accompanies an update to the JavaScript SDK, which will no longer support the outgoing proxy architecture. Developers are advised to adjust their applications in advance to avoid service disruption.HBAR InfoHedera (HBAR) is a decentralized public network that allows individuals and businesses to create powerful decentralized applications (dApps). Its native cryptocurrency is HBAR, used to power decentralized applications, build peer-to-peer payment and micropayment business models, and protect the network from malicious actors.Hedera stands out from other blockchain technologies due to its use of hashgraph consensus, which promises the benefits of blockchain – decentralization, distribution, and security through hashing – with enhanced speed, efficiency, and scalability. This technology enables Hedera to process thousands of transactions per second in contrast to traditional blockchains, making it an appealing option for enterprise use cases.
