By George GloverBitcoin was sliding again Tuesday, putting it on course to extend its rough run since U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration. The world's largest cryptocurrency slid 1.6% to $83,132 in early trading, according to data from CoinDesk.Bitcoin has been stumbling ever since Trump took office and now trades 31% below the record high it hit in mid-January. Ethereum fell 1.5%, XRP was down 2.8%, and Dogecoin — a so-called meme coin that Trump ally Elon Musk has backed in the past — slid 3.3% to just under 17 cents.Write to George Glover at [email protected] content was created by Barron's, which is operated by Dow Jones & Co.
