Bitcoin Slips Amid Renewed U.S.-China Tensions — Market Talk

Bitcoin falls in early Asian trade. It could remain under pressure after the recent volatility spurred by renewed U.S.-China tariff tensions, Exness's Dat Tong writes in an email. Traders remain cautious although there are hopes of trade talks between the two countries, the senior financial markets strategist says. The volatility comes after a large liquidation last week that wiped out more than $19 billion in leveraged positions. "The magnitude of forced unwinds has left market participants on edge, with both new and seasoned investors reassessing short-term risk exposure," the strategist says. Bitcoin falls 0.3% to $112,763.18, LSEG data show.([email protected])
