Bitcoin Rises After Upbeat Nvidia Earnings, Tariff Ruling — Market Talk
Bitcoin edges higher on improved risk sentiment following upbeat earnings from chip company Nvidia and after a federal court blocked President Trump's sweeping tariffs. Nvidia reported a jump in quarterly revenue despite U.S. restrictions on its China sales. The Court of International Trade ruled that Trump didn't have the authority to impose sweeping tariffs on nearly every nation. The ruling is welcomed by investors seeking reduced policy uncertainty, IG analysts say in a note. Nvidia's performance also helps "counterbalance concerns over new U.S. restrictions on semiconductor-related exports to China." However, Bitcoin's gains are limited as the latest Federal Reserve minutes indicated it was in no hurry to cut interest rates. Bitcoin rises 0.6% to $107,933, according to LSEG. ([email protected])
