Bitcoin ETFs See Outflows — Market Talk

Crypto markets have suffered headwinds from cautious market sentiment, says LMAX Group's Joel Kruger in a note. U.S. listed spot bitcoin ETFs record a third day of net outflows. Economic pressures, U.S.-China trade tensions and looming tariff hikes contribute to market uncertainty, removing some of the positives for crypto right now, he says. However, ETF outflows were somewhat offset by an accumulation of holdings by so-called bitcoin 'whales', which are individuals or organizations with large bitcoin holdings, Kruger says. Bitcoin and ethereum are therefore likely to remain range-bound. Investors await upcoming U.S. data for clues on future Federal Reserve policy and the impact of tariffs, he says. Bitcoin falls 0.2% to $105,628. ([email protected])
