Zondacrypto Founder Missing Since March 2022, Successor Also Unaccounted For

According to The New York Times, Sylwester Suszek, founder of Polish crypto exchange Zondacrypto, formerly BitBay, disappeared in March 2022 after leaving a desperate voice message for his sister, and his family suspects he may have been killed. According to ChainCatcher, lawyer Przemyslaw Kral, who took over the company, has also been missing for four months.Kral previously posted a video reassuring customers that the company held more than $330 million worth of bitcoin, but the only person with the key to unlock it was Suszek, who remains missing. The company’s website shut down around April, and about two months later, on June 29, Estonia’s Financial Intelligence Unit revoked the license of its parent company.
