Zcash Open Development Lab CEO Updates Wallet Migration, Voting, and Core Progress

Zcash Open Development Lab founder and CEO Josh Swihart posted an update on this week’s progress at ZODL. According to Foresight News, the Zodl wallet has added Orchard-to-Ironwood migration and the Slipstream sync engine in Android 3.9.0 and iOS 3.9.1, along with multiple emergency bug fixes.Coinholder Polling has adopted a new voting logic, separated an independent voting API, and fixed a multi-bundle delegation issue. Multi-Account is now under review in product design, while design work has started on a new spending feature.On the Zcash Core side, the team closed a sync defect in the Zebra backend that could damage wallets, and the backend now returns explicit errors. It is also advancing the migration path from zcashd to Zallet, supporting pre-Sapling seedless wallet parsing and a CLI command for address import. The zcash_pool_migration crate has also been expanded.
