Wyoming Stablecoin Commission Moves FRNT to Chainlink CCIP After Security Review

Wyoming’s Stablecoin Commission has migrated the state-issued Frontier stablecoin (FRNT) from LayerZero to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). According to Odaily, the commission said it became the first U.S. government entity to publicly change blockchain infrastructure for security reasons.Executive Director Anthony Apollo said a security review raised concerns about LayerZero’s disclosure practices and operational security, leading the commission to adopt CCIP to meet strict security and reliability requirements. The decision came four months after Kelp DAO’s LayerZero cross-chain bridge was hacked for $292 million.
