UXUY Launches UStock Tokenized Stock Platform for U.S. and Hong Kong Listings

Decentralized exchange UXUY has launched UStock, a tokenized-stock services platform targeting small- and mid-cap publicly listed companies in the United States and Hong Kong. According to ChainCatcher, the platform plans to offer share issuance, distribution to on-chain investors, and post-issuance liquidity services, using stablecoins such as UUSD for subscriptions, pricing, and settlement.Under the proposed mechanism, each uToken would represent the economic rights of one underlying share, including price changes, cash dividends, and corporate actions such as stock splits. The underlying shares are planned to be held by licensed brokerages, trusts, or other institutions and segregated through independent asset-holding entities. UXUY also plans to disclose custody, token issuance, and asset coverage through a Proof of Underlying verification mechanism.UStock plans to allocate part of certain offerings to establish initial uToken/UUSD liquidity pools and bring in on-chain market makers. It aims to support around-the-clock on-chain trading as spot markets and infrastructure develop, and may later connect with UXUY’s Perp DEX to offer perpetual contracts tied to uToken assets.
