According to BlockBeats On-chain Detection, the two addresses increased their combined short exposure by 585.3 BTC, with an average execution price of about $62,935.3.As of press time, the two wallets were short 2,675 BTC in total, with positions valued at about $169 million and combined unrealized gains of about $2.622 million.The whale beginning with 0x8c96 is short 1,600 BTC with 22x isolated leverage, a position valued at about $101 million. Its average entry price is $64,051, unrealized gains are about $1.582 million, and its liquidation price is $65,128. It is currently the No. 2 BTC short.The whale beginning with 0x431f is short 1,075 BTC with 22x isolated leverage, a position valued at about $67.791 million. Its average entry price is $64,030, unrealized gains are about $1.04 million, and its liquidation price is $65,103. It is currently the No. 4 BTC short.The two whales acted in close coordination, with their first round of additions this morning separated by only about three seconds. They used the same leverage setup, had liquidation prices near $65,100, and placed unified reduce-only stop-market orders at $63,971 for part of their positions.Those stop orders cover 1,003.1 BTC in total, equivalent to about $64.17 million at the trigger price and representing 37.5% of their combined positions. The stop level is about 1.45% above BTC's current price, while both positions are about 3.3% away from liquidation. Their take-profit triggers are set near $58,123 and $58,423.On-chain data showed no fund transfers between the two addresses, but a copy-trading relationship is suspected. The 0x431f address has authorized an API proxy named hy-copy and has followed 0x8c96 since its first trade on July 4. Their first BTC long entries were only 1.3 seconds apart, with an entry-price difference of just 0.043%.Since then, the two addresses have moved in the same direction and at the same time in 181 trades. When only trades with both sides exceeding $100,000 are counted, 163 rounds matched. Since August, their position sizes have continued to track each other at roughly a 1.49:1 ratio.
