Tom Lee Says Tokenization and AI Agent Finance Will Drive Crypto Over Next 5 Years

Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee said in an interview with Milk Road Show that asset tokenization and AI agent finance will become the most important narratives in the crypto market over the next five years, and that Ethereum could serve as the settlement layer for global finance. According to ChainCatcher, he said ETH remains significantly undervalued relative to BTC.Lee said ETH could be supported by four catalysts in the remainder of 2026: the U.S. Clarity Act could pass in September, offshore short positions and sidelined capital may return, Asian investors may reallocate into crypto assets, and global institutional fund managers may chase outperforming crypto assets under quarterly performance pressure. He said the ETH/BTC ratio could revisit its historical high of 0.08. Even if it only recovers to 0.04, Lee said ETH could reach $6,000 if BTC rises to $150,000.Lee also said Bitcoin still has long-term upside potential, but the larger theme for the crypto industry over the next five years will be a supercycle of full asset tokenization and AI agent finance.
