Stable Releases 2.0 White Paper for Institutional Stablecoin Settlement Network
Stable has released the 2.0 version of its white paper for a stablecoin payment Layer 1 blockchain. According to Foresight News, the Stable mainnet will use USDT as gas fees and its primary settlement asset, while also supporting PYUSD.The project is positioned as an institutional stablecoin settlement infrastructure. The white paper highlights AI agent payments, corporate settlement, and cross-border payments as key use cases. STABLE has a total supply of 100 billion tokens, with 18% currently in circulation.The remaining 82% will be unlocked in stages starting at the end of 2027, with full release scheduled no later than December 2029. In addition, if STABLE's 30-day volume-weighted average price falls below $0.025, the unlock schedule for some tokens can be delayed by up to nine months.
