Solana Governance Proposals Enter On-Chain Vote, Deadline Set for August 26

Solana’s official developer account said governance proposals SGP 1-3 began on-chain voting at epoch 1023, with the vote expected to close at 3:30 PM UTC on August 26. According to ChainCatcher, the three proposals cover approval of the Solana Constitution to establish a formal governance framework, raising the inflation reduction rate from -15% to -30%, and restructuring transaction fees into a fixed inclusion fee plus a variable resource fee.Institutional staker DFDV said it had cast its vote with maximum weight.
