Solana Co-Founder Says Industry Is Not Ready for Alpenglow Upgrade

Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko said the industry is not ready for the chain’s next major upgrade, Alpenglow. According to Odaily, Anza engineers have already migrated Solana’s developer network to the Alpenglow consensus protocol, which is designed to change how blocks are processed and reduce transaction finality from about 12.8 seconds to 100 to 150 milliseconds.
