SemiAnalysis Says Claude and OpenAI $200 Plans Can Deliver Far More Token Value Than Fees

SemiAnalysis said it tested Anthropic's $200-per-month Claude plan and found that, in long-duration tasks, exhausting the relevant limits could generate up to about $8,000 worth of tokens per month. According to ChainCatcher, it also tested OpenAI's $200-per-month plan and found that, after using all weekly limits, the monthly token value could reach about $14,000.The test was completed in June. SemiAnalysis said the two companies' premium subscription plans can provide model usage value far above the subscription cost in high-intensity use cases.
