San Francisco Resident Convicted in Crypto Fund Wire Fraud Case

A federal jury in the United States found San Francisco resident Japheth Dillman guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. According to ChainCatcher, the U.S. Department of Justice said Dillman made false statements about the crypto trading fund Block Bits Capital, which he co-founded, and defrauded more than 20 investors of nearly $1 million.His sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 8.
