Roughnecks Stops Mining Operations Under BIP-110 Protocol

Mining pool Roughnecks, which supports the BIP-110 protocol, said on X that it will stop mining operations under the Roughnecks name after a team meeting. According to Odaily, the pool also advised miners on the BIP-110 chain using the current algorithm to suspend mining until further notice.Roughnecks said the decision does not mean the BIP-110 movement has failed, but marks a move to the next stage. The pool thanked supporters and said the fight will continue, but Roughnecks will no longer serve as a pioneer. It also said it had found the first two, and only two, BIP-110 blocks.
