Ripple CEO Says CLARITY Act Vote Failure Is Disappointing

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said on X that the result of the CLARITY Act procedural vote in the U.S. Senate was disappointing. According to Odaily, he said Ripple and the crypto industry had put significant effort into advancing the bill, but it ultimately failed to pass.Garlinghouse said the U.S. crypto industry still has reasons to remain optimistic, as the SEC and CFTC will continue drafting rules to fill the legislative gap left by the bill's stalled progress. He added that Ripple will remain involved in the rulemaking process and said the vote failure will not change the company's business momentum, global expansion, or customer demand.
