QUICK SPARK: Wall Street Is Moving Nvidia Onto Crypto Rails. 24/7 Trading Is Next

Nvidia Corp ) may be a Wall Street stock, but the way investors trade it, is starting to .Tokenized equities and equity perpetuals are putting traditional names onto digital trading rails. This is creating a market that never has to wait for the opening bell. The Trading Rail ChangesCoinMarketCap’s Alice Liu told Benzinga in an exclusive email interview that the convergence between traditional equities and crypto is happening at the "distribution layer, not the asset layer." The company’s trending board recently featured tokenized Nvidia alongside tokenized Nasdaq-100, Apple Inc ), Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU), Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) products. The category has expanded rapidly. CoinMarketCap tracks 1,851 tokenized-stock instruments with roughly $2.3 billion in combined market capitalization, and about $2 billion in daily trading volume.Tokenized stocks were turning over roughly 89% of their market cap daily. That’s far above the turnover seen in Bitcoin, memes or AI tokens.Equity perpetuals are expanding, too. Their share of Hyperliquid’s perpetual volume rose from about 2% at the start of the year to roughly half. For investors, the bigger shift is not simply that Nvidia can be tokenized. It is that stocks are gaining crypto-style rails — 24/7 access, fractional trading and leverage — potentially reshaping how equities are traded.Image: Shutterstock
