Paradigm Founder Matt Huang Says Zcash Developer Fund Remains Important Amid AI and Quantum Risks

Paradigm founder Matt Huang outlined his views on Zcash in a post on X, saying blockchain ecosystems generally face long-term funding challenges, especially for public goods financing, and that using inflation to fund a developer fund is a viable mechanism. According to Odaily, he said the Zcash developer fund remains important as AI-enabled cyberattacks grow stronger and quantum technology advances rapidly.Huang also said that as Zcash gains acceptance and adoption as a privacy complement to Bitcoin, governance based solely on coin voting could create unpredictability and affect long-term trust in its role as a monetary asset. He said Zcash is better suited to combining coin voting with other governance methods. Huang also disclosed that Paradigm is an investor in ZEC and ZODL.ZEC briefly rose above $1,385 early today, setting a new all-time high.
