Trader Murphy (@Murphychen888) posted on X that holders of 100 or more ETH were grouped into four ranges, with average cost bases of about $1,900 for 100 to 1,000 ETH, $2,000 for 1,000 to 10,000 ETH, $2,100 for 10,000 to 100,000 ETH, and $2,400 for more than 100,000 ETH. According to Odaily, Murphy said the average holding cost for high-net-worth and whale ETH holders is mainly concentrated between $1,900 and $2,400.Murphy also said that when ETH falls below the average holding cost of high-net-worth and whale holders, he begins dollar-cost averaging, and stops when the price returns to that cost range. He said that, combined with the LTH-NUPL indicator, the strategy has had a win rate of nearly 99.99% over the past 10 years.
