LG CNS To Launch Stablecoin-Focused Blockchain Service In September

LG CNS, the IT services arm of South Korea’s LG Group, plans to launch a new blockchain service in September focused on the stablecoin ecosystem. According to ChainCatcher, the service will include digital wallets, transaction processing, fee delegation, and on-chain data management.LG CNS blockchain division head Lee Jung-hwa said wallets are the most important infrastructure in the stablecoin ecosystem, adding that control of wallets and fiat on-and-off ramps will determine which players hold a key position. The company said it previously participated in the Bank of Korea’s Project Hangang and has built technology related to CBDCs and deposit tokens, while testing multiple on-chain settlement models.
