IG and tastytrade Digital Assets Executive Moves On After Seven Years

Laurence Willows has left IG Group and tastytrade after nearly seven years with the companies, according to a LinkedIn post published today.Willows wrote that he had “moved on from IG / tastytrade this summer” after “7 amazing years” with the businesses. “It’s been a pleasure working alongside so many talented people,” he added.His departure comes as tastytrade continues to develop its crypto business. The platform added Bitcoin and XRP through infrastructure provider Zero Hash last year and broadened its range of available cryptocurrencies.IG Group later reported its first spot crypto revenue, with tastytrade accounting for most of the US activity. The platform had increased its offering from four to 23 cryptocurrencies and recorded 9,700 active monthly crypto traders.IG Digital Assets Head Leaves tastytradeWillows’ most recent role was Head of Business Development, Digital Assets, US, which he held for just over three years.
