Harmony Suspends Cross-Chain Bridge Service After Security Incident

Harmony said it has suspended its cross-chain bridge service following a security incident. According to Foresight News, the company also released a patch file and urged all validators to upgrade to prevent further unauthorized minting.Harmony said it will later release another update to address the issue involving tokens that have already been minted. Foresight News previously reported that Harmony was attacked and suspected that 4 billion ONE were newly minted, and the company said it was working with exchanges to freeze the funds.
