Gnosis Chain GIP-153 Passes to Transition From L1 to Ethereum-Aligned L2

Gnosis Chain's GIP-153 proposal has officially passed, setting the public chain on a path from a sovereign independent L1 to a highly Ethereum-aligned L2. According to Foresight News, several official associated addresses, including Gnosis co-founder StefanDGeorge, cast votes in favor shortly before the voting deadline, meeting the quorum requirement.The proposal was initiated by Gnosis founder tw_tter and core members. It aims to address the security shortcomings of traditional PoS L1 networks and the drawbacks of inflation subsidies, inherit the security of Ethereum validators, and make Gnosis Chain a synchronous composable Ethereum L2.
