GiggleFund Files U.S. Trademark Application for NIANNIAN Token

Foresight News reported that the official X account for meme token GIGGLE, GiggleFund, said it has filed a federal trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office through its new holding entity, Giggle Holdings, for the token NIANNIAN. The application covers cryptocurrency exchange, transfer, and trading services and was submitted as a standard character mark.According to Foresight News, the team said the filing will next be reviewed by an examining attorney. If it passes review, it will enter a 30-day opposition period before registration could be approved. The team said that after registration, it plans to seek takedowns of copycat applications from platforms including Dexscreener and PancakeSwap. It added that the filing is only a record of application and does not mean the trademark has been registered.
