Fidelity Digital Assets' Chris Kuiper Says Bitcoin Bear Market May Not Be Over Ahead of November Cycle Test

Fidelity Digital Assets research vice president Chris Kuiper said the bear market may not be over and that Bitcoin still faces a key test in November. According to Odaily, he said the rebound since August could mark the start of a new uptrend or simply a bear-market rally, and that higher prices do not guarantee the bear market has ended.Kuiper said November is an important window to watch under a four-year cycle framework, noting that the last bear-market bottom came in November 2022. He also said historical cycles have never repeated exactly, and Bitcoin could fall again and set a new low in November or later.Kuiper pointed to a more positive signal in the low volatility seen from June to mid-August, followed by a sharp rise that resembled the late stages of previous bear markets. He said this may indicate selling pressure is nearing exhaustion, while stablecoin transfers, real-world assets and institutional participation continue to grow.
