Ethereum Foundation Says Glamsterdam Upgrade Will Adjust Gas Fees

The Ethereum Foundation said the Glamsterdam upgrade will include changes to gas fees, affecting the costs of state creation and access through proposals EIP-8037 and EIP-8038. According to Odaily, most contracts will not be affected, but some contracts that rely on hardcoded gas values and other older assumptions may need updates or could fail or see reduced performance.
