Ethereum Foundation and Open Anonymity Project Launch zkAPI on Mainnet

The Ethereum Foundation said zkAPI, developed with the Open Anonymity Project, is now running on the Ethereum mainnet. According to Odaily, the system uses zero-knowledge proofs to separate payments from identity, allowing users to deposit ETH, USDC, and other assets into a vault contract and authorize AI API usage without revealing their identity.Service providers can view request content but cannot identify the payer, while payment providers can see only the spending amount and cannot link it to a specific request or user. zkAPI is initially aimed at AI inference and can also be used for blockchain RPC, image generation, video generation, and other usage-based billing scenarios.
