Bitcoin daily active addresses rose from 645,000 on July 30 to nearly 1 million on July 31 after the Coldcard hack incident, according to monitoring by Julio Moreno. According to Odaily, the increase was mainly driven by more active sending addresses, while active receiving addresses rose by a smaller margin. The figure marked Bitcoin's highest single-day level since December 10, 2024.
