Binance to Suspend BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) Deposits and Withdrawals for Wallet Maintenance

According to the announcement from Binance, the exchange will perform wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) at 2026-08-20 06:00 (UTC). To support the maintenance, deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will be suspended starting from 2026-08-20 05:55 (UTC) and will resume when the maintenance is complete. Binance said the maintenance is expected to take about one hour, and trading of token(s) on the network will not be impacted. The exchange also stated that it will handle all technical requirements involved for all users.Deposits and withdrawals for token(s) on the network will reopen once the network is deemed stable. Binance said no further announcement will be posted regarding the maintenance. The notice applies as a general announcement, and the products and services mentioned may not be available in all regions. The announcement did not indicate any change to trading activity on the affected network during the maintenance window, but it confirmed that wallet-related services will be temporarily unavailable until the process is completed and the network is stable again.
