BabyDoge Buys File-Sharing Platform LimeWire

By Stephen NakrosisWeb3 company BabyDoge has acquired file-sharing platform LimeWire.Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.BabyDoge said the LimeWire platform would allow content creators to own their data and control how their work and data move across the network. The current LimeWire platform has no affiliation with the original Lime Wire LLC or Lime Group LLC, it said.The $LMWR would become native utility token of the LimeWire platform, and can be used for services such as decentralized file storage and access to the platform's artificial-intelligence tools, the companies added.BabyDoge also said an updated LimeWire Network product road map is expected in the coming weeks.Write to Stephen Nakrosis at [email protected]
