Avalanche: KSD builds connectivity for South Korea's onchain securities framework - Feb 2027

South Korea's Financial Services Commission has published rules for onchain issuance and circulation of stocks, bonds and funds beginning February 2027. The Korea Securities Depository, the country's central securities depository, is part of the supporting blockchain infrastructure and is building connectivity on Avalanche.KSD's infrastructure work gives Avalanche an institutional route into South Korea's securities market, described in the event assessment as exceeding $5 trillion. The connection is through securities issuance and circulation infrastructure rather than a standalone crypto product.
