Anchorage Digital Bank Begins Custody Services for xU3O8 Token Backed by Uranium Concentrate

Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, began offering custody services for institutional clients' xU3O8 token on September 16, 2026. According to Odaily, the token is backed by physical uranium concentrate stored at Cameco facilities and held through a U.K. trust structure.xU3O8 is issued by Uranium.io, with Archax serving as trustee, and the underlying assets are mapped through the Etherlink network. Cameco stores the physical uranium in certified facilities and regularly publishes reserve proof audit results.Anchorage Digital Bank N.A. is regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Its clients can place xU3O8 in segregated, bankruptcy-remote accounts alongside Bitcoin and cash equivalents. xU3O8 is priced at about $5.66, with a market value of about $9 million.
